Ate here twice and was not disappointed! We had the pollo asada street tacos which are happy hour price all day on the weekends. Also had the summer rolls and pad Thai. Pad Thai had a lot of vegetables and the sauce wasn’t too sweet, just right. Love the laid back atmosphere here, will definitely be back

They’re just beginning to start their full restaurant service, so they’re adding on to their menu and also alcohol menu soon! Food was amazing. The portions are not huge but the quality is awesome and enough for bf and I to be full but not much extra leftover to take home for second meal. We’re excited to try the rest of the menu. But so far in two separate occasions, their Mexican and Thai foods are both great!!

Your New Taco Tuesday Spot!If you haven’t been to Aloha Mamacita yet, you’re seriously missing out! I stopped by for their Taco Tuesday special, and at just 3 a taco, it’s hard to beat the deal. Whether you’re a broke college student looking for amazing food on a budget or a busy professional craving something fresh and satisfying, this place is the spot. The Crunchwrap is next-level—crispy, flavorful, and stuffed with goodness. My friends ordered the seared Pho, which was an unexpected surprise for a taco joint, but they were raving about how bold and delicious it was. Oh, and don’t sleep on the Birria Fries—savory, cheesy, and totally addictive.Even better? Word on the street is they’re opening a bar soon, so this place is about to become your go-to for after-work hangouts or late-night bites.Whether you’re looking for a quick lunch, a casual dinner, or somewhere to vibe with friends, Aloha Mamacita delivers on every front. Trust me—once you go, you’ll be coming back for more.

Aloha Mamacita is a gem tucked in the heart of Honolulu, blending vibrant flavors with exceptional hospitality. From the moment you step in, the atmosphere radiates a tropical charm, perfectly aligning with the island vibes. The menu boasts an impressive variety of dishes, and each bite reflects their commitment to quality and creativity. On my visit, I indulged in a spread that left me thoroughly impressed. The crispy bao buns were a delightful fusion of soft and crunchy textures, the tacos were brimming with rich, bold flavors, and the fresh spring rolls were light, refreshing, and paired perfectly with the peanut dipping sauce. The basket of golden fries was the perfect side, crispy and seasoned just right. Every dish was crafted with care, and the attention to detail was evident.Despite the restaurant being busy and short-staffed, Lexi delivered outstanding service with a smile. She was attentive, accommodating, and made sure we felt welcomed and taken care of, which truly elevated the dining experience. Her professionalism amidst a bustling atmosphere is commendable and worth recognizing.Although I was initially disappointed to find that coffee was out of stock, the staff explained that it’s a customer favorite and tends to sell out quickly—a testament to its popularity. I’ll be back tomorrow to try it, along with their renowned puff pastries, which are all over social media and look absolutely irresistible.Aloha Mamacita has quickly become a must-visit for me in Honolulu. I can’t wait to return and continue exploring their menu. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a memorable dining experience infused with aloha spirit!

Update: Birria tacos were good. Thai dishes were only good when the Thai chef cooks and she supposedly only works during the day (this not dinner). When I returned for dinner and ordered the same dishes, the food quality was more like a 3-star.Original review (when lunch was cooked by Thai chef): Super delish Thai, Vietnamese, birria tacos fusion food and really nice atmosphere with dog-friendly patio options. Even the mild spicy level dishes are very flavorful. Great presentation. I ordered tom kha and pad see yew, best I’ve had in town, food quality is on-par with Opal Thai!
